BodyProud is a lifestyle choice. It consists of four (4) essences that contribute to making humans live and perform consistently, at their highest potential. The four essences of BodyProud are the Physical Body, the Mind, the Heart, and the Spirit. Because we (humans) are one of the most complex species on the planet, in order to function at our full potential, all of the core essences must be cherished, nourished, developed and respected.  Doing so is truly empowering, and leads to better health, prolonged happiness, increased confidence, and an overall improvement in the quality of one's life. Put simply, people who embrace the BodyProud lifestyle are among the happiest, healthiest, and most confident people on the planet.

I joined BodyProud for many reasons. Increase My Confidence, Feel Better about Myself, Compete in Physique Showcase Events, Be an Inspiration to Others, Become an Athlete are all of my BodyProud goals. Once weighing in at a mere 490lbs. I decided it was time to get healthy. I started with 52% BMI... I have lost a total of 340lbs and my BMI now is 13%. I used food as my addiction to cope with the life I was handed. 4 1/2 years ago, I decided to take control of my life... and started on my new journey, never looking back and never letting the road blocks get in my way!
