Hi Gabriella, you have offered advice so i am here to ask. the rough thing about all this competion talk is never cheating on the diet. I eat clean and gluten free because I have to. But here in AK anyway, dinner parties are big, I really feel wierd not accepting a drink or desert when they have made something that I spacifically can eat. However, it seems like I gain weight with the slightest indulgence, peanut butter (adams or organic pressed at home) packs it on. Do you have any advice on not acting like a snob in social situaltions? Also, is it just me that gains weight when I eat a rice cake and peanut butter. When I am maintaining weight I am not eating all that much maybe 1400 cal and my charts say I need at least 1600 to maintain, but 1600 makes me gain and it is not muslce that shakes on my bum :). Anyway, I really want to be as regulated as possible in my small frame and I want it hard, but I also like a vodka and just cran sometimes too. Any advice?
Thanks Gabriella! That really helps me with a starting point to focus on. I'll keep you updated on my progress. One question, how do you feel about working out in the morning on an empty stomach for fat burning purposes vs. eating something to improve performance?
what does your workout schedule and eating schedule look like. My problem seems to be carbs, and weekend drinks, two or three glasses of red wine. I like to have my weekend dinner out wine. Do you cheat at all? Where does the balance come from. I don't want to not be shreaded but I also want to live and enjoy living, part of that is food and drink. with celiac I already can't eat most things when I am out or in for that matter. Any advice on balance. thank you so much for all your help and for your responses.
